Seat shape

The saddle seat has obvious benefits for dynamic sitting positions bringing the back and the armrests in a straight position with the front of the chair. You should be aware that the central part of the seat has a volume that could, in some cases, prevents you from getting very close to the patient’s chair.

The round seat has a more flexible positioning shape allowing you to turn slightly so that the left armrest (elbow rest…) comes into the right place for the mirror holding hand. The front of the round shaped chair is smaller so you will not have problems in getting closer to the patient’s chair.

Foot-base

"Capisco" has a base of 74cm wide; the usual operator chair has about 45cm.

This could be a problem if you have a very small operating room with limited floor space. If you are in this situation please contact us, so we can work on a solution.

The wide foot-base has a reason; it provides the proper stability for a tall chair and for working in the turned position when you rest your body-weight on the armrests and the back of the seat. The large foot-base also places the foot-rests in a comfortable position.

Liftomat height

You will probably be happy with the standard 200mm height of the liftomat which opens the hip angle (more than 90°).

If needed, you have optional 265, 135 and 157 mm choices.
Castors Options

Finally you need to decide between castors for hard or soft floor as well as castors with or without brakes.
